A bus called Sueños (Dreams) links three modern-day tales set in exotic Ecuador - the equator-straddling country that calls itself "The Middle of the World." Each of these stories carries a woman's name, and each features a mysterious, alluring female outsider who bewitches men. In the first tale, a blonde woman with an unclear past arrives in a remote, male-deprived Andean town and offers piano lessons, only to become the focus of wild rumors and innuendo. In the second, a married college professor who is haunted by nightmares becomes obsessed with a beguiling woman who seems to be sending him an ominous message. In the final story, a couple vacationing at a jungle resort refuse to believe in the ancient myths of Ecuador, but are forced to confront the legendary Guasangó.

In his search he is accompanied by his loyal friend and helper - Sery Volk, who, through his wits is always there to help his lightheaded friend. Fascinating and dangerous adventures , the executions of Ivan's cruel brothers and his fated encounter with Elena Prekrasnaia, are awaiting our heroes. The young spectators would be absorbed by the magical world of russian tales, with their traditions and characteristical aesthetics wonderfully mixing up with modern cinema. As for the parents, they will most certainly appreciate the humor and music especially written by popular rock artists.

Will arrives for his last year at Military Academy, in the Deep South USA, in the 1960's. A black student, Pearce, has been accepted, for the first time and Will is asked to keep an eye out for the inevitable racism. The racists come in the form of The Ten, a secret group of the elite students. They want Pearce to leave on his own free will, but are prepared to torture him to make it 'his free will'. Will is forced to help Pearce and he is prepared to risk his own career to do so.
